Maghull Town Council. Including the councillors and council staff who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to renovate children’s playgrounds, maintain 14 parks and 19 open spaces to the highest standards. Establishing Maghull’s best ever Christmas tree, delivering Christmas hampers, running the Advice Centre, and Sefton’s best Cosy Club for our most vulnerable residents, and so much more. Maghull Station Volunteers led by the amazing Doreen Bird, who for over 20 years have provided an uplifting artistic and floral gateway, and litter picking daily, which has created a trophy cabinet of awards, crowned by this year’s national best station award.

Maghull in Bloom. Who have inspirationally created uplifting floral displays at the square, the Meadows leisure centre, Treeview, the canal and much more for over 20 years, working closely with Maghull Town Council, the National Lottery, and the local business community.

The Rotary of Maghull & Aughton who over 20 years have generated charitable funding (most notably through their enchanting Father Christmas Floats often in the most challenging of winter weather) for countless local, national and international good causes, which we understand could be around £18,000 this year!

The Maghull Food Bank. Whose incredible volunteers provide a precious lifeline in challenging times.

The Many Local Businesses that often go the extra mile to unselfishly help our community despite the many challenges they have been facing in recent years.The countless others who we all know, who make a wonderful difference.
