The 7th edition of ‘Your MAGhull’ quarterly community magazine, was suspended throughout most of 2025 due to the tragic fire at our community’s town hall on the 14.2.25. However, due to the incredible resilience of our community’s elected voluntary ambassadors and public servants in the form of town councillors and officers, the town hall, magazine and countless services have either been maintained or are being re-established potentially even better than before.
‘Your Maghull’ was created in December 2022, following the sad loss of the popular Champion Newspaper (free weekly community newspaper delivered to 160,000 homes). Created in the belief that without communication a community cannot be a community – providing opportunities for information sharing between schools, councils, community groups, businesses, churches to create shared visions, belongingness and pride for our town’s future.
This Christmas edition is bulging with helpful community updates and a fantastic focus on how our council will be rebuilding our town hall, based on extensive public and expert consultation to deliver an asset that will flexibly meet our towns future needs at the very heart of our community.
