The Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) would be immensely grateful if there are any local tree surgeons who could provide various sizes of logs that could be cut down to fit in and around an archway.

The FOMD volunteers with huge community support have worked tirelessly every day to transform Rowlands Dell resulting in Maghull’s largest ever environmental cleanup and Maghull’s largest ever NHS health and wellness green grant for disabled accessible features. After two years of working daily we are now putting in a huge array of planting to create a tranquil biodiverse haven for humans and wildlife.
The newly installed galvanised steel archway, has kindly been funded by a year of tireless funding by the local Co-op shoppers who have contributed several pennies to every pound they spent and matched by the Co-op. Their kindness has enabled us to manufacture and install with the creative skills of Challenge Forge an archway that will not only be a crowning welcoming entrance to the space but will highlight for the NHS landowners the profoundly misunderstood ‘overarching’ term of neuro diversity (e.g. ADHD, Autism ADD, dyslexia and dyscalculia, dyspraxia etc) something we also felt passionately about after the sad loss of Matthew Lock, who had been one of our friends and volunteered on many projects.
With huge thanks,
Dr Frank Sharp
