The Friends of Maghull & District’s (FOMD) next one hour for Maghull, will be focusing on a small amount of border pruning and trimming on our Woodend Community Woodland Project, with the main focus on applying winter preservative on the two wooden Coronation thrones, meeting at Woodend/Bobby’s Wood next to Bumbles Nursery on Tuesday (24.9.24)

In 2019, the Woodend/Bobby’s Wood (junction of Liverpool Road, South and Northway) was an uninspiring space as a drab entrance to Maghull and unusable by most people and wildlife, and a potential magnet for even more housebuilding in Maghull.
