If you have one hour to spare, we are meeting for only One Hour, at Pimbley Field (Junction of Bridge Road and Fieldway, L31 5LX) at 10:30 hours on Thursday and Saturday (2.2.23 and 4.2.23) to spread some wood chippings around some our 3,000 young previously planted mixed wildlife friendly hedge trees and some weeding by removing grass from inside tree guards (pictured).

If possible, please bring garden gloves, rake, shovel, wheelbarrow.

Huge thanks for our last four Give One Hour events:

(21.1.23) Our amazing volunteers: John, Diane and incredibly 40 children and families from the ATC Cadets and Hudson Primary School who came along to our last ‘Give One-Hour to Maghull’ to one of our Tree Projects at Hudson for the secound half of the maintenance (Pictured). Incredibly, we moved four tons of wood chippings between us all in only one hour. The wood chippings are a really attractive mulch and are perfect for hydrating the young trees and suppressing weeds.

(22.2.23) Incredible work from Christine, Sue, Ken and Matthew who collected 18 bin bags of litter from Park Lane, School Lane and around the Maghull North Train Station (pictured).

(29.2.23 am) Huge thanks to Brian and his parents Jim and Chris for donating nine mature shrubs, which Joan and Diane helped to dig out and transport and plant into our Woodend and Parkbourn projects, making a fantastic addition (pictured).

(29.2.23 pm) FOMD litter picked Park Lane again and removed wheelbarrow of debris from the Park Lane bus shelter.

We look forward to seeing you all.
