Chill In Maghull whilst Making It A Better Place, For Only One Hour.
3 May 2023 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
| FreePop along to our next ‘Just One Hour For Maghull Initiative’ organised by the Friends Of Maghull & District (FOMD).
The climate conscious children of St George’s primary school planted 2000 of our 15,000 trees in Maghull and need our help to tidy the young trees up after one year, to help their survival.
Everyone is welcome when we meet at St George’s primary school (Dennett close, Liverpool l31 5p) at 09.30 hours on Wednesday (3.5.23) and all you will need is a pair of garden gloves and a free 1 hour. The work involves adjusting canes, plastic guards and removing any weeds that have grown inside the guards. This small work makes a massive/invaluable difference to the survival and growth of the trees.

Many thanks to Joan and Christine who helped last time and to Mrs Teresa Mawtus (Teacher) who had kindly primed her class to individually thank us during the 1 hour. Really sweet.
“The truth is, every one of us, no matter who we are, or where we live, can and must play a part in restoring nature.” Sir David Attenborough.
Many Thanks,
