Together Making a Difference in Maghull, Lydiate and the Planet: morning volunteer opportunity at St Gregory’s Primary School (16.4.26 at 930 hours).
16 April @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
| Free‘Future generations will ask not what we said but what we did.’ King Charles 2025.
Early last year we planted 1466 trees at St Gregory’s Primary School (Lydiate) and with a Mersey Forrest grant planted 9 large standard trees this month and need your help on Thursday to plant 5 fruit trees and review the 1466 trees planted last year to maximise their growth to provide a green legacy for the environment, school and local community.
Please register at the school reception at 930 hours if you can spare any time between then and midday.
Venue: St Gregory’s Primary School.
Equipment: garden gloves, sturdy boots and spade.
Tasks: digging five holes for the children to plant and mulch the trees, then staking. With the main task to check and restore the viability of all the trees that have been planted, with more instructions on the day.
Please help make a massive difference with any time you can provide to create an amazing nature haven that will provide countless benefits for nature and the community.
