The BBC One Show ‘Winners’ film of the Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) receiving the UK 2025 BBC One Show/RHS Growing Together Community Garden Award for the Rowlands Dell NHS Health and Wellness Green Transformation Project, from Tom Allen, on the 7.10.25, has been submitted to Bafta as part of BBC’s Albert [green policies in filmmaking] application!
They filmed all day and used lots of creative ideas to capture the environmental and community elements of the project, with a rich engagement of warmth and interest demonstrating the breadth of daily experience gleaned from years of travelling all over the UK to capture an inconceivable breadth of topics, to be condensed into a seven minute film that has to be sufficiently stimulating for a broad range viewers.
Fingers crossed for the brilliant Matthew McCann (BBC Producer) and his team.
