One Hour for Maghull: Invitation & Thanks (Tree Project).
21 January 2023 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
| FreeIf you have one hour to spare, we are meeting for only One Hour, at Hudson Primary School (Moorhey Road, L31 5LE near playing field entrance) at 10:30 hours on Saturday (21.1.23) to spread some wood chippings around the young mixed wildlife friendly hedge trees and a little bit of weeding.
If possible, please bring garden gloves, rake, shovel, wheelbarrow.
Huge thanks for our last Give One Hour (16.1.23). Our amazing volunteers: John and Paul who came along to our last ‘Give One-Hour to Maghull’ to one of our Tree Projects at Hudson for the first half of the maintenance (Pictured). Incredibly, we moved five tons of wood chippings between the three of us, whilst the next load is only 3-4 tons! The wood chippings are a really attractive mulch and are perfect for hydrating the young trees and suppressing weeds.
We look forward to seeing you all.
Best Wishes

One of only a few small trees that needed the grass removing from inside the Spiral guard, to help the trees thrive without any competition.
